Welcome to Egerton Primary School
"Ready to learn. Ready to thrive. Ready for tomorrow."
We are a vibrant primary school located in Knutsford, Cheshire. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all of our pupils. We aim to give each child the best foundations for them to be happy, confident and successful lifelong learners.
Our stimulating curriculum reflects and embraces our children and our community. We are committed to ensuring that children master the fundamentals of reading, writing and mathematics as well as ensuring that our broad and exciting curriculum enables each child the opportunity to find their passion and develop their talents.
We have constructed an ambitious and carefully thought out curriculum. The curriculum excites, engages and promotes learning from the moment that children join the early years, until they leave at the end of Year 6. As a result, pupils, including those with SEND, achieve well, which is reflected in our Good (Ofsted January 2023) Ofsted rating.
We employ enthusiastic, passionate, vocational teachers who recognise the imperative upon them to be exemplary role models and to nurture each child to become the best that they can be.
The school is committed to developing the practice of the teachers to be exemplary, so that they can have the greatest impact on the children they teach.
Egerton is fortunate to have an extensive and beautiful outdoor space, supported by specialist teachers, that provide unrivalled opportunities to develop a healthy, active lifestyle and also to learn how to care for our environment and its importance. Everything we do at Egerton is rooted in a values based approach that builds moral, responsible and active global citizens who develop, value and maintain positive relationships with all.
