From 5 January 2021 school remain open for vulnerable children and those of critical key workers only.
This is reviewed weekly with parents completing an online form to enable us to meet the needs of parents with changing shift patterns.
Learning at home
We will be using the same structure to remote learning as we did from March last year using Seesaw and Tapestry for Reception children. A morning video will be posted by the teachers and activities will be posted on the class pages of the website.
We have three key messages to share:
• Do what you can and when. Do not worry if all activities have not been completed and make time for play and relaxation.
• Only Mrs Hooper and the class teacher can see the work that is posted.
• Don’t worry if work is not posted on a particular day – just do whatever is possible. This helps the teachers support every child.
Please use this situation to support yourselves too in your working days and decide with the children what they do and, most importantly, when to fit in with your work patterns. These times demand of us a greater level of flexibility, patience and empathy too.
Mrs Broadbent and Mrs Davies have put in place specific support for our most vulnerable children and those with special educational needs.
All children have a right to access their learning at home. If you are need of a device for this or have any technical issue to access Seesaw or Tapestry please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org
